The cosy rooms at Chitra Ayurveda are simply charming, with a touch of elegance in their stylish decor. The ample work space in each room allowed me to comfortably catch up on my tasks as a business traveler. The en suite bathroom with separate shower area and complimentary toiletries was a convenient and refreshing feature. Being able to have a kitchen in some units equipped with a microwave was a great convenience for quick meals. The air-conditioned rooms with mosquito nets provided a comfortable and peaceful sleep every night. The private bathrooms in every unit ensured convenience and privacy during my stay. The double room with a balcony was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the refreshing sea view.

Personally, I found that the presence of mosquito nets in every room was a bit bothersome.

We had an amazing stay at Chitra Ayurveda in Bentota. The warm and friendly welcome from the owners, Chitra and Mahesh, made us feel like part of their family. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the tranquil gardens. The breakfast prepared by Chitra was delicious, with a variety of fresh fruits. We also tried the Ayurvedic massage, which was incredibly rejuvenating. The beach, just a short walk away, was pristine and peaceful. Despite the occasional train passing by, it added to the charm of the place. we highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, always there to help us out and arrange trips. The accommodation is set in a beautiful garden and the beach is just a short walk away. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the breakfast was out of this world. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely come back. Thank you for having us!

We had an amazing stay at this family-run property. They were so friendly and informative, taking us to their incredible jungle swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious and the room was spacious and comfortable. Just a short 2-minute walk from the beach, we couldn't have asked for a better location. We would definitely stay here again.

My stay at Chitra Ayurveda was absolutely amazing. I was welcomed by the superb hosts, who were incredibly warm and helpful throughout my visit. The property, although old, was well maintained and surrounded by stunning gardens. Access to the sandy beach was a definite highlight. The breakfast provided was delicious and couldn't be faulted. I also had the opportunity to enjoy an evening meal prepared by Chitra, which was a delightful surprise. I had a great experience on a budget and would highly recommend staying here.
